Brief Profile

The Tanga Jamaat was afflicted with the death of yet another social worker, Alhaj Haiderbhai F Meghji who passed away on 15 January, 1990. The Late Haiderbhai has for long provided selfless services to the Jamaat in various fields and has also served in the capacity of Hon Secretary and Chairman of Tanga Jamaat.

The late Haiderbhai will always be reminisced as a founder of the Ithna-Asheri Scouts in the region and his services as the first Scout Master will long be cherished.

The erection of the Kabrastan boundary wall was also pioneered by Marhum and along with other invaluable services rendered to the community will always be endeared.

May Allah grant courage and patience to the family of the deceased to bear this tragic loss.

Marhum was an active member of Tanga Jamaat and has worked in various Sub Committee in the Jamaat including in the Scout.
