THE AFRICA FEDERATION ARCHIVES MOURNS THE DEMISE OF MARHUM FIDAHUSSEIN JUMA UKERA

On 17th November 2010 Marhoom Mulla Fidahusein a former Chairman of KSI Merca jamat of Somalia passed away in Mombasa and was buried on Thursday 18th November 2010.

Mulla Fidahusein was born in Merca, Somalia in 1938 and brought up there, he studied at the Italian school and learned Quran and religious studies from his late father Mulla Abdulkarim and other mu'alims in those days. Mulla Fidahusein was a dedicated member and served the Jamaat in different capacities for many years.

Mulla Fidahusein was born in Merca, Somalia in 1938 and brought up there, he studied at the Italian school and learned Quran and religious studies from his late father Mulla Abdulkarim and other mu'alims in those days. Mulla Fidahusein was a dedicated member and served the Jamaat in different capacities for many years.

He was also Zakir-e-Husein, led Namaz-e-Jamaat and took care of all the Madrasah activities.

By profession Mulla Fidhaussein was a Tailor and had a Tailoring shop, a well known personality in the town up to last moment before the Somalia civil war.

He was chairman of the KSI Merca Jamaat and after the evacuation from Somalia, Mulla Fidahussein settled in Mombasa where he use to recite duas and lead Namaz-e-Jamaat on some occasions.

Marhum has left behind a wife, four sons and seven daughters and several grand children.We pray to Allah (swt) to grant Marhum maghferat and a place in the proximity of Ahlul Bait (a.s.) – Ameen.
