Ali Raza Khaki

Ali Raza Khaki, M.D.is a hematologist/oncologist with board certification in oncology, hematology, and internal medicine. He is also a clinical assistant professor of oncology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Ali received his bachelors degree in Chemistry from Carleton College and studied medicine at the University of California, San Diego. He went on to complete internship and residency in internal medicine at University of California, San Francisco.

Clinical & Research Interest

As a fellow, Ali's clinical and research interests are in genitourinary cancers (cancer of the prostate, testes and bladder). He is working with Dr. Petros Grivas to study real-world utilization of novel therapies in patients with advanced bladder cancer. He is also working with Dr. Veena Shankaran to study health care utilization and cost near the end of life for patients with advanced cancer.

Throughout his training, Ali has been recognized for his exemplary professionalism and humanistic care of patients. He was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society as a medical student and was the recipient of the Reza Gandjei Humanism Award in residency.

Family

Ali has been married to his wonderful wife, Khadijah, for over ten years and is father of two kids, Leila Fatema (age 4) and Muhammad Musa (age 2). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with the family and is an avid Seattle sports fan supporting the Seattle Seahawks and Mariners.
