He holds a degree in Computer Engineering and began his professional career with CitiGroup in the Software Engineering field. After a span of 18 years at CitiGroup, Ali transferred to Mt Sinai Hospital briefly before becoming the Global Head of Software Asset Management for Morgan Stanley.
